Having breakfast is necessary for us.
                 Firstly, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. A healthy breakfast provides us with nutrious energy to start the day and helps us control urge to snack on unhealthy food full of sugar and calories. It also helps children to maintain a healthy body weight. The American Dietatic Association (ADA) has found that children to who eat  healthy breakfast maintain a healthy weight better than children who skip breakfast. They are less like to overeat later in the day and feel full longer.
                Secondly, breakfast helps us feel good. Maybe you ofter get morning stomachaches if you miss breakfast. These aches are hunger pangs.
                Thirdly, breakfast fuels the body with nutrients that you may not be able make up with other meals. By having breakfast we can acquire sufficient nutrition and energy to support a day’s works and studies.
                Finally, breakfast gets us ready to learn. The Surgeon General has found that kids not only learn beter after eating breakfast, but also are more productive and get more done in morning too.

  A Lion and a Mouse
                A lion was awakened from sleep by a mouse running over his face. Rising up angrily, he caught him and was about to kill him when the mouse piteously entered, saying “If you would only spare my life, I would be sure to repay your kindness.”

                Lichens (sejenis tumbuhan lumut) Are unique group of complex, flowerless plants growing on, rocks and trees. There are thousands kinds of lichens, which come in a wide variety of colors. They are composed of algae, and fungi which unite to satisfy the needs of the lichens.
                The autotrophic green, algae produce all their own food through a process called photosynthesis and provide the lichen with nutritional elements. On the other hand, the heterotrophic, fungus, which depends on the other elements to provide its food, not only absorbs and stores water for the plant, but also help and protects it. This union by which two dissimilar organisms live together is called ‘symbiosis’.
                This sharing enable lichens to, resist the most adverse environmental conditions found on earth. They can be found in some very unlikely places such as the polar ice caps as well as in tropical zones, in dry areas as well as in wt ones, on mountain peaks and along coastal areas.
                The lichen’s strong resistance to its hostile environment and its ability to live in harmony with such environments is one example that humanity should consider in trying to solve its problems.

Integrated Pest Management
                 There is no best way to deal with pests in agriculture. Pesticides are commonly used, bit this may cause many problems, combining different management operation is the most effective way to control pests.
                Firstly, the chemical pesticides may build up as residues in the environment. Thus reduces the quality of farm products. Furthermore, pests can gradually resistant to pesticides.
This means that newer and stronger ones have to be developed.
                Some pesticides also affect non target animals such as fish and bees. This affects natural balance. To wipe out agricultural pests completely may be very expensive. Sometimes pest damage costs less than the method of control.
                Finally, understanding the ecology of the area will help a lot in pest control. Natural enemies can be used to control pests. Pesticides that do not affect the natural enemies should be chosen.
                Therefore, integrated pests management is a safe and more effective option in agriculture.

                A termite (rayap) is much like an ant its communal habits although physically the two insects are distinct.
                Like those of ants, termite colonies consist of different classes, each with its non particular jobs.                 Once, a cap seller was passing though a jungle. He was dead tired and needed to rest. Then he stopped and spread cloth under a tree. He placed his bag full of caps near him and lay down with his cap on his head.
                 The cap seller had a sound sleep for one hour. When he got up, the first thing he did was to look into his bag. He was startled when he found all his caps were not there. He was wondering where they could have gone. Indeed, he was very surprised to see monkeys sitting on the branches of a tree, each wearing a cap on his head. They had evidently done it to imitate him.
                He decided to get his caps back by making humble request to the monkeys. In return the monkey only made faces of him. When he began to makes gestures, even when he raised his fist towards them to threaten them , they also imitated him.
                At last he hit upon a clever idea. “monkeys are a great imitator,” he thought. So he took off his own cap and threw it down on the ground. As he had expected, all the monkeys took off the caps and threw them down on the ground. Quickly he stood up and collected the caps, put them back into his bag and went away.
